WILD SPIRIT ARTS! is dedicated to helping people experience the wild abandon,
excessive creativity and innate joy that we are all born with as well as reveling in the lush
quality of the traditional crafts.

Each pattern has clear instructions, and is printed on sturdy paper allowing you to use
them again and again. They are fun and engaging for beginners as well as the more advanced sewer. We are right in the middle of putting this site together, so you might not see all of the dolls listed, but feel free to go to the order form to see the list then call us with questions.

Our online classes provide a guided walk through the creation of one of our dolls. They focus on craft, some art history, science, philosophy, some new techniques and creating a doll book to play out your ideas in.

Please visit us on the web at: www.lihertzidesign.com to find out about new patterns, online classes, custom dolls and sketchbook making and using techniques. Or call: 760-434-4921

The Moon Godess
A pattern inspired by the African Bird Goddess.
To the Africans she represents the bringing together of earth and sky, a balancing force. You can mount this doll on the wall, on the top of a staff or just let her hang around! (what a great shape to work with, she is femininity in person!)
This pattern includes two versions, one pregnant or chubby one and the other, an elegant pallet for your stitching skills

The Angel Godess

These ladies bring the Christian angel form together with the pre columbian goddess form to create a rather odd Mrs. Angel. Hopefully, your doll will inspire some questions from your viewers and more importantly some laughs! Have Fun!

This pattern yields one large angel and one small angel ornament. (13”) #GD101w

Kookopolo

This cloth doll pattern is really two patterns in one! One version dances and serenades you from the wall from whence he came and the other is equipped with actual dancing legs! They are animated by you with the help of a couple a feet of fishing line, some rings and motivation! Create this southwest Icon in your own unique style. For beginners to expert! (22”) #GD109w

Akua'ba

The Akua’ba resembles the shape of the ankh, the ancient Egyptian symbol of life, and our modern symbol for woman, her face is the moon with its many tides, and the serenity of the feminine is expressed in her simple form. She creates transformation wherever she goes. (25” and 4”) #GD108w

EarthSky Man

The EarthSky Man is a pattern based on the amazing petroglyphs along the Colorado Rive in the lovely state of Utah! He can be mounted with dowels and a base to stand or created to hang on the wall. The basic pattern is simple enough for the beginner but can be embellished and used by the expert to build a wildly complex, interesting
creature.

Just Flying Around
These little ladies were inspired by me taking trapeze lessons! There are three of them and three pairs of wings in this pattern set. You can mix and match, creating quite a an array of different flyers. They can be strung up on the mobile, or you can attach pins to the back for dollpins, just lay them strategically around the house, in the car, anywhere - to remind yourself to play! (7”) #GD110w

My beloved town of Eldora was the inspiration for this wind blown lady doll. Living there taught me that nothing is impossible, the mountains are indeed alive and bending in the wind is the only way to go! (resistance is futile!)

She is a great doll for quilters as her whole body is a canvas for your amazing piecing and applique skills! (20”) #GD105w
